Amenity Paradise Hotel and its association is committed to promoting responsible sourcing across its supply chain. Amenity respect and value all animal species. That includes promoting the welfare of chickens, that is why we are pledging to make our entire egg supply chain cage-free by 2035. To begin with, we are committed to source 50% of our eggs from free range farms. We also commit to annual progress reporting towards this cage-free commitment. We will work with our partners and suppliers in ensuring all our procurement standards comply with the stringent animal welfare practices. With this cage-free commitment, we are encouraging like-minded industry in Tanzania to support animal welfare and sustainability towards banning cages, thus achieving lasting impact for millions of hens in Tanzania. We are appreciative to work with Education for African Animal Welfare (EAAW) and the Open Wing Alliance (OWA) during this transition process.
